I stepped back into Fission chat today.  For the first time in-- well it's actually only been about two months.  And yet I feel like I haven't touched the fandom in forever.  They said it was like a family reunion xD

passionera  on ontd_startrek  recently posted an idea that us GQMFs should have a uniform.  In essence, should we ever be having some sort of gathering in public, we'll look like an army :D.  Likewise, passionera's recruiting willing individuals into the idea, so we can all get together and form a consensus about a good uniform.

And of course, I ride in on the residual squeeing lillueyue  and I participated in earlier yesterday, in relation to cadet uniforms.  And Spock's teacher uniform.  I mean, I would pay good money for a jacket inspired by that shit.

So, I signed up as a part of the Design Committee and sent that idea right in.  Apparently, we're getting whatever consensus of uniform custom made and we're buying it in bulk!  I'm so excited!  Some lucky company's gonna make a SHIT TON of money xDD.  The leader of the group is also of the opinion that cadet uniforms would rock, so I'm just crossing my fingers and hoping it pulls through!

So I'm sitting at the lab on 55th, 8th floor, working on my 2DIS project.  The one where I have to design 2D planes?

Anyway, there's a guy and girl behind me arguing about animation.  It is... awesome.  I know I shouldn't say that about an argument but it's really damned interesting.  The guy keeps pulling references from different shows and cartoons to make his point.  You see, the girl's animation isn't quite as interesting as it could be, and the guy is talking about using different angles, cuts, etc, to make it more interesting.  He's giving her advice about how to make it better, more polished, and the like...

Damn, I am going to try and take an animation class.  And Chinese.  And Astronomy.  Ahhh, I don't wanna graduate earlyyy D:
